Laser Tag....ALL.NIGHT.LONG.

Sooo.....as a "last hurrah" as a SPY (St. Peter's Youth) young adult minister, I went on an ALL NIGHT laser tag adventure with 40 of our highschoolers at St. Pete's.
We arrived at the laser-tag arena a little before midnight and left at 7 o'clock this morning.

I am now running on the 2 hours of sleep I got when I collapsed on my bed when I got home...
I MAY be a little loopy today, but it was TOTALLY worth it.

(loopy warning......) :)
I felt like St. Michael, triumphing over evil with a LASER GUN.... well, Maybe St. Michael didn't have a laser gun, but regardless...
(We were split into 2 groups and each group played a total of like 8 rounds: 20 minutes-ish each.) We played one game scenario, called zombie, where there was one person who was "infected". If the "infected" player shot you, you also became "infected". This lasted until there was one player left. Then the round started over with a different, random "infected".

Because I am a visual person, I began to think how this game actually models our real lives. We "infect" each other in real life. We can truly impact other people by what we say and do. We can either "infect" people with negativity and evil things OR we can "infect" (in a VERY different sense of the word..) with light and truth.
anywayyy.....
SO.FUN.

...and I am SO ready to do it again on Tuesday night with the middle schoolers..... I'm not kidding.

I may have to plead temporary insanity. ;)
