Busy... busy..... :)

Hi!
Sorry I haven't written in a while! Life caught me off-guard with a whirlwind of activity!
hmm....we've been SUPER busy with "normal" life: Prayer, Classes, Homework, Apostolate, .....stuff. :)
One things that's been keeping us particularly busy was just this past weekend! We had our Annual Benefit Dinner!

Our benefit dinner not only shows us how generous people can be...but really gives us a chance to talk to all of our benefactors and thank them for their generosity. It was such a blessing to share the evening with these wonderful people! It was so wonderful in fact, That I COMPLETELY forgot to take pictures DURING the dinner! :) Oops! 

St. Raymond's Maronite Catholic Church

The Mass we celebrated before dinner was a Maronite Rite Mass. It was one of the coolest Masses I've ever attended! Parts of the Mass are said in Aramaic (the language Jesus spoke!). It was a beautiful liturgy, and we are so thankful to have such amazing friends at St. Raymonds! 
Our Maronite brothers and sisters are in Communion with the Universal Catholic Church. So it's just basically another culture of the Catholic Church.... It was really really cool to truly see the universality of the Church first hand! 

Mary, Queen of the Apostles, Pray for us! 

Directly after Mass we headed over to The Cedars right across from St. Raymond's. It was so beautiful! The other postulants set up Mary, Queen of the Apostles, in the entry way!  














...and AFTERWARDS, keeping with community tradition, we went to Ted Drewes for AMAZING frozen custard! Ted Drewes is a famous custard place here in St. Louis! It TOTALLY lived up to all expectations!

So life here is good!
